"I started working out with Paul Rose about 2 years ago. Taking on an intensive course of personal training in later life is a daunting prospect. However, it was clear from the first couple of sessions that something very good could come of it. Within 2 months I had intensified my work-outs and become fitter, and stronger and learned a host of new exercises. Most transformational, Paul through his careful stretching and encouragement has me squatting and dead-lifting 100 kgs for the first time in 20 years of recurrent back problems.

The change to my legs and arse (hind quarters) is dramatic and bringing lots of compliments from guys 30 years younger than me. At the outset I was 83 kilos with 13% body fat. I am now 89 kilos with body-fat just below 10% and still falling. The definition has increased at an even higher rate. Paul's work on my core has given me extra strength and not least a tapered waistline and emergent six pack. Not least the approach, range of exercises and intensity carries forward into my solo my work-outs. All that said the sessions with Paul are enjoyable since he is very personable, laid back and fun.

I gave up the gym in my 50s thinking it was all getting too late. Working with Paul has been a revelation in terms of how the body can still respond to great coaching."

Stefan Thomas

Stefan first started training with Paul in 2017 and since then he has gained for 4kg of lean muscle and dropped 2% body fat. He had a sporting background but did not understand the importance and mechanics of resistance training. Now, Stefan has a great knowledge of how the body works and value of training correctly to help him outside of the gym arena.


Pier Leon

Pier has been training with Paul for over 2 years now and managed to go from 10% body fat to 5% at the same time gaining 5kg of muscle.  Being an experienced gym goer and trained in a lot of different disciplines, Pier had the foundations to be built on. With Paul’s expertise and motivation, Pier has managed to achieve his dream body.

David has now trained with Paul since 2016 and when he came to the gym he weighed 83kg with 13% body fat.  Now, David is 10% body fat and gained 6kg of lean muscle mass.  Suffering with lower back problems for the past 20 years, since training with Paul, the pain has disappeared through carefully programmed workouts and stretching.


Stefan Liberadzki

Stefan has trained with Paul for a year and in that time he has gained 8kg of lean muscle mass and lowered his fat percentage by 4%. Stefan had a big sporting background by rowing for Cambridge while at University.  Paul has managed to push Stefan to the next level and expand his understanding of different training techniques methods.
